Michael G. Miller, AttorneyMr. Miller is first and foremost a civil trial attorney, having tried over 70 cases to a jury verdict in a host of subjects ranging from real estate, business, personal injury, medical malpractice, dental malpractice, attorney malpractice, employment/labor, and civil rights. Mr. Miller also has a long history of litigation and advice for both homeowners and homeowners associations.
Mr. Miller grew up in the East Bay. He worked as a police officer for nearly ten years on the San Francisco Peninsula. He has practiced law in Sonoma County since 1988. He is a founding partner of Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz, the largest law firm in the North Bay. He is an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated attorney, long-time member of the highly regarded national organization American Board of Trial Attorneys (ABOTA) and recent recipient of the Sonoma County Bar Association's Career of Distinction Award. Mr. Miller acted as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for over 7 years for three at-risk youth wards of the Court, overseeing educational, medical, housing, behavioral, social, and overall life issues and as a mentor. He was a "Big Brother" with two different Sonoma County youths for years, having been a "big" for a "little" for 2 years with one and over 10 years with another. He also served on its Board of Directors. He volunteers for the Sonoma County Superior Court as a Judge Pro Tem for Small Claims Court and jury trials, arbitrations, and settlement conferences. He has been an active, long-time supporter of the Redwood Food Bank. Mr. Miller has always been a community advocate and active in issues centering on racial equality. |
