Synergy, our strength is in our unity.Members & Associate Members (Members) of the 100 Black Men of Sonoma County, Inc., I have no doubt collectively we have the capacity to effectively demonstrate with positive results, how working together and with community partners, we shall make a difference in the lives of the youth we engage, and the community at large.
Like farmers we plant and cultivate the seeds, the qualities within the youth. The nurturing needed for their continued growth is the sharing of our vast and wide ranging personal and professional life experiences, our time, and wisdom. What we share is invaluable, continued encouragement, academic achievement, moral character development, life skills, high degree of work ethics, and lifelong learning. The positive feedback from the youth we serve, their families, and our community partners is affirmation we are on the right track. |
I have the highest respect and gratitude for the Members [men and women] of the Sonoma County Chapter. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of speaking at length with every member. I applaud each of you for giving so much of yourselves, not looking for personal glory, or seeking the spotlight. As individuals we are as different as the gazillion grains of sand on the beach. However, it’s obvious we all share a similar quality. The innate desire to give back and lift up the African American Youth and the community at large. Their success is our joy.
Brothers and Sisters of the 100 Black Men of Sonoma County, Inc., lets continue unselfishly without hesitation, demonstrate the capacity of our Synergy. Our strength is in our unity. We are more powerful moving forward together as one.
Sincerely,
Arthur B. Chaney, President
